- This Unit is working on the study of mutual investment opportunites between Egypt and the EU.
- The unit is currently working on a paper dealing with the following:
- The 2004 bilateral agreement between the EU and Egypt and why it was not successful
- The changes Egypt has undergone, and the opportunities that are now available in Egypt due to the new infrastructure as well as the new laws and regulations
- How Egypt can work on increases the appeal towards investing in the renewable energy and natural gas sectors (keeping in mind any difficulties that could have arose under the 2004 agreement as well as any other agreement between Egypt and the EU)
